Robin Williams -- The Light Of My Childhood

So so sad, When I log in on twitter and the first headline I read was "Robin Williams Confirmed Died" I thought It was hoax, until everything was confirmed. I was so devastated, I don't know why I'm so affected. Maybe because the night before the news I watched the marathon of The Crazy Ones. His latest TV series with Sarah Michelle Gellar. I love them in this series, the father-daughter bonding was amazing. And I'm so affected maybe because he was the light of my childhood years. he was one of the reasons why I love movies so much. Hook, Aladdin, Mr Doubtfire, Popeye, Toys, Flubber, Robots, Jack, Artificial Intelligent, Happy Feet,  Jumanji, Dead Poet Society, Night At The Museum, and so much more. He was funny, not the unacceptable funny, He was funny in everyone eyes. From kids to the elders, they would laugh every time he told his funny stories. But he could be this serious and heartbreaking actor at the same times. He  won Oscar and was nominated three times before he was finally winning it. And the speech was funny and awesome. No, i don't accept the way he ended his live. But the fact that he was the one that made us laugh and he was the one who suffered the most from his problems, it made me sad and respected him more. He made us laugh when he could not be happy with him self :(

So this is some of my favorite movies with Robin Williams in it
1. Aladdin (1992)

This is the first movie I watched with Robin in it (as long as I remember), you know as a kid you didn't remember much things, but you will always remember one or two moments in your life. And if you ask me what it was, it was the moment when I watched Aladdin, I just love this movie. until now it still makes me cry, laugh, and feel so much emotions. Robin as Genie was the best thing that has been happened in my life.

2. Mrs Doubtfire (1993)
This is one of my favorite movies. The role he played was unforgettable. It was the proof that He was not afraid of taking chances.

3. Hook (1991)
I know more and more about Robin Williams. I remember I watched Hook on TV, and that moment I fell in love even more with him and his works. Bangarang !

4. Jumanji (1995)

This is one of the best and memorable movies for me. I've loved this movie since the first time I watched it. The movie that made me loves Kirsten Dunst.

4. Dead Poets Society (1989)
This is one of the serious movies I have ever watched. It's heart breaking. Robin as English Professor really inspired me. And don';t forget about the " O captain ! my Captain" scene. Anyway he earned Academy Award nomination for his role.

5. Good Morning, Vietnam (1987)
People said it was the breakthrough role for Robin Williams, I watched it, and I like it. It was funny and very touching. Remember "Goooooodddd Morning, Vietnam!"? I do think this his best work. This role earned him his first Academy Award. They said it was very refreshing movie back then

6. Jack (1996)
I like this movie, you could say it was boring. But I don't care I like it. Robin played as a man who aged faster. Remember the graduation speech of Jack, OMG. :(

7. The Fisher King (1991)
Playing as crazy homeless man, Robin got nominated of his second Oscar after Good Morning, Vietnam. He was really good in it.

8. Good Will Hunting (1997)
As much as I love Robin in comedy, this dramatic movie can;t be forgotten. A movie written by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. the fact that this movie has Matt Damon and Robin was still shining. He got his one and only Oscar for this role. He could find a joke in the darkest moment, and it made me realize how happy person he was.

9. Artificial Intelligent (2001)
He didn't have big role, but I'm sure you will watch with Robin Williams in it.

10. Night at The Museum (2006) and the sequels
I can't wait to see him in the third sequel of this movie. i really Can;t wait. Robin Williams as President Roosevelt was the coolest thing in this movie. He was funny and everything you asked.

11. August Rush (2007)
I love this movie, and Robin as supporting role was a plus. SO I should watch this movie later

12. World Greatest Dad (2009)
I like this movie, some might don't know this movie existed but you should watch it now.

13. The Angriest Man in Brooklyn (2014)
The last movie of him I watched, and I will wait to watch his other posthumously movies. Not a big fan of his movie, but you should watch it.

There so much more. But I have something to do. So I have to stop. I will start watching Mork & Mindy. Sad story, i only watched two episodes on YouTube. I have to find the link of his movies. HAVE TO

Anyway the night before he was gone I watched this marathon. It was funny and Robin was the best part of the show

Mr Barack Obama said : "Robin Williams was an airman, a doctor, a genie, a nanny, a president, a professor, a bangarang Peter Pan and everything in between. But he was one of a kind. He arrived in our lives as an alien - but he ended up touching every element of the human spirit,"
He was the light of my childhood, I can't imagine my childhood without his movies. And someday when I have kids, I will ask my kids to watch his movies.
Robin Williams is not only the best comedian, he was best actor of this era. He was energetic, fun, happy, and all. He will be missed by me and my family and everyone. You might gone, but your legacies will be here, forever. Good bye Robin

Anyway, remember this scene ?
"You Move, Chief"
Fans of him make this bench as a tribute for him, it's in Boston

And this Robin Williams news really makes me really that I can't force someone to be happy all the time. People have been through different things. Don't ask them to be as happy as me. Just let them show thei real emotions, because you maybe you are the people that can save them. Don't call people depressed, because it's not an assault. Let people whine just for a little. It's better than hiding their emotions and do somethings bad.

And I found this tweet by Esme Bianco inspires me

We never know what lies behind the mask, life is so tender and fragile. It can crumble without any warning. Be kind
