I was madly waiting for Interstellar's release. And finally I have watched it, twice. It was incredibly exciting. It was a delight. It was unforgettable. he once again, amazes us with work. The fiction is on point, i mean we can really understand it's fiction, without being smart. But's it's really amazing. Some critics don't like it. but me as movie goer, really like. i watched it for entertainment purpose. but BAm he confused me and forced to watch this movie again.
The plot is original. and it was really good. i love how the characters are growing.the movie is about that time when earth is dying. it was thought-provoking. Many questions were raised. What would life on earth be like if our climate runs amok? What happens to government when we all have to live hand-to-mouth? Are "they" out there communicating with us? An yeah this movie makes Gravity looks a like a vegetable on sale.
And when people say Nolan can't do emotional scene, you are wrong dude. This movie had so many emotional scene, and the best relationship in this movie was the relationship between Copper and his daughter Murph.And once again Miss Chastain never fails us with his dramatic scene. And tell me something that McConaughey can;t do. Because he can do everything from comic to very serious man. That scene when He received a message from his son and how his son told him about everything and then he was being 23 years old was heartbreaking. the way he cried, Oh my god.
And I love how the didn't show us the take off scene, it's unnecessary, but tbh i really wanted to see that scene on this amazing camera. But lets be honest, It was not hat important. instead of doing the dramatic take off Nolan did a heartbreaking scene when Cooper left his family and his daughter cried so hard. This was very heart breaking scene. But i felt like he rushed it, like how Coop and Murph found NASA and then NASA told him a very heavy decision and how he rejected but then the next scene he was doing it and left his family behind.
Very strong women characters. do you that Murph character supposed to be a boy but Nolan changed it? wise choice. Makenzie Foy and Jessica Chastain was really stellar in this movie. And Anne, such a strong character, with a very gentle side. She gave a very strong character, too bad she didn't\'t get that much scenes even thought they considerate it as a lead character. I love her speech and the scene when she met Romilly after the journey to waste of time planet. How she almost cried and her face haunted me. OMG
And then we met Matt Damon , surprise. lol. very short scene tho. he played as an asshole astronaut. But the scene with him was quite strong. But it was over top, I mean without Matt Damon in it it would be the same, one of those astronauts could just betrayed Coop and Amelia tbh. It's totally all star movie. All those stars did a first class act and didn't fail at all.
But the story is confusing as hell. Some scene like he seems to rush it. And the end scene when Coop just back was confusing as hell. I mean how did he come back? Did they find him in his home? Just like that? Too many holes. but totally worth it. I like it. And how Coop back to Amelia. just lol. are they gonna live there? w don't know. and how are "they"? I know Coop explained it. buttt...
As a Scifi movie it was amazing, definitely amazing cinematic journey. that scene in black hole or wormhole, holy shit. it was amazing. and that scene when Dr Mann's blew up, it scocked me even thought I knew what would happen. And the robot, it looked stupid and weird, but hey it was capable of a lot of things and totally one of the best best. it was funny and cute. 'See you on the other side Cooper"
So far, it was good, but not stellar or amazing. And this is one of the best movie of 2014 since 2014 is very week year. Did it meet my expectation? Nope. but the acting and fiction are helping a lot. And some points are missing. but like I said we probably will understand Nolan in 123 years ahead so just enjoyed. If you respect and adore him like I do. you will love it alot. and this is the most emotional movie Nolan has ever made. he proves us wrong, he could do very emotional movie and scene. the end scene between Cooper and Murph when Murph was dying was really heartbreaking. For me it was definitely better than gravity
