2015 AFI FEST LINE UP

The American Film Institute has put the finishing touches on AFI FEST 2015 by announcing the titles that will make up its final five screening programs: World Cinema, Breakthrough, Midnight, Shorts and Cinema's Legacy.

According to AFI, "World Cinema showcases the most acclaimed international films of the year; Breakthrough highlights true discoveries of the programming process; Midnight selections will grip audiences with terror; and Cinema’s Legacy highlights classic movies and films about cinema. World Cinema and Breakthrough selections are among the films eligible for Audience Awards. Shorts selections are eligible for the Grand Jury Prize, which qualifies the winner for Academy Award consideration."

2015 Toronto International Film Festival (First Batch)

After the long line up of amazing summer movies, fall is coming, and we will have some award race with those fall film festival. TIFF has announced their first list. TIFF 2015 is going back to its Canadian roots for its 40th birthday, opening the festival with Quebec director Jean-Marc Vallée's Demolition. After critical successes such as Wild and Dallas Buyers Club, Vallée will kick off the festival with Demolition, starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Gyllenhaal is just one of the A-list stars who have become fan favourites at the festival, returning to Toronto year after year. After her Oscar-winning turn in Still Alice, Julianne Moore will walk the red carpet again for Freeheld, a movie she starts in alongside Canadian Ellen Page. The film focuses on the real-life love story and fight for justice by two New Jersey women and is likely to be especially poignant in a year where same-sex marriage became legal in the United States.

Wish I Was Here- Review (2014)

I seriously liked this movie. Reviews were really good, but it really was much better than I anticipated. It is filled with love, and conflict, and loss which is all portrait in a perfect combination of comedy and drama. This movie will have you laughing out loud one minute and crying the next. I think it is a beautiful film that was beautifully written and filmed.

At first it's the casual laughs and uh-huh moments that have you laughing, only then to curve ball and hit you with raw emotion. As the emotion builds, one finds themselves helplessly drawn toward the characters and the deeper the film gets the more magnetized everything becomes. from the jokes to emotions to jokes to emotions works extremely well throughout the duration of the film.

Fury - Review (2014)

I watched this movie on midnight show last Saturday. I'm very curious about this movie. Brad Pitt in colaboration with David Ayer and those young Hollywood stars. Even though there have been tons of films that told the story of world war 2 in different ways. However this was the first one in my opinion that captured the brutality of war bad showing how it effects not used to dealing with the first hand experience that comes with the violence of war.

The acting here is great from everyone. I think that the standout of the entire cat is Brad Pitt. He gives a very strong performance and his character is very commanding and is one of those characters who never gives up. Logan Lerman also does a great job playing Norman and his character is one that doesn't want to kill people, but he does it, because it is necessary. Jon Bernthal, Michael Pena, Jason Issacs, and Scott Eastwood all deliver great performances as well. Even Shia Labouf is great in this film. The cast also share some great chemistry between each other.

London Film Festival Line Up

One again fall film festival that has annouced their Line Up. It's London Film Festival, with Telluride Film Festival has ended with very satisfaction reviews with on what might happen on Oscar race next year, We will have London Film Festival that will happen on October. Some movies that had the first release on Cannes Film Festival has remind stable in Telluride. Like Foxcather, and I cant wait to watch Birdman and The Imitation Game.

Anyway back to London Film Festival,they have announced Fury and The Foxcatcher before. The Imitation Game will open the festival and Fury will close it. and this is the full list.

Fall Film Festival

It's getting closer to award seasons. and usually movies from fall film festival are always going to the award seasons. not always tho. but the possibility is big. especially TIFF, Telluride, Venice and NYFF. I'm always excited because it's time find some good movies and books to be honest. and I'd like to see my favorite actors and directors walk on the read carpet and do some interviews.

The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby TRAILER

I will love this movie, the wait I do for this movie. the concept is amazing the actors and the story sound good to me. And I can watch two of my favorite actors and the best actor right fall in love in movie. Chastain and McAvoy should get Oscar nomination for this movie. I have ghost bump every time I watch this trailer, and seeing Jessica Chastain's smile and movies always make me happy. SO I really want this movie in my eyes. Beside Weinsten is behind this movie.
