Beauty and The Beast (2017)
So basically I got very curious with people around me talking about this so I wanna join te hype by watching this. Granted, the movie is visually stunning. The costumes in this movie are gorgeous save for that godawful prom dress Watson wears during the ball room scene. The scenery is also very lovely to look at and the CGI is decent. The only issue I had with the CGI was Mrs. Potts. She was not charming, she was creepy. Why couldn't they make her look decent? Everything else was fine save for her.
I love Emma Watson but she was a complete miscast. She has this very serious looks and I imagine Belle should be this this quirky and lively small town girl. As predicted, her voice has been largely manipulated in post. And considering that Walt Disney himself made such a big deal out of the musical production in all of his movies.

Cinderella (2015)
I'm not going to lie. I was not all that excited for this movie. In fact, I was much more anticipating paying for the ticket just so I could check out the new Frozen short that brought back a sense of nostalgia to the older days of Disney and Pixar where they would show a short mini-feature film before the main feature.
It was a big pawn for Disney to remake their animated properties to live-action since almost all of them had sunk to notoriety. (Hello Maleficent and Alice in Wonderland.) And it was also a big pawn for the audiences to get invested in these stories that had been told better. So, with that in mind, I lessened my hopes for the 2015 Kenneth Branagh version of Cinderella, since the source material had been beaten to death many times; heck, Disney previously released a version of Cinderella in Into the Woods, two months prior its US release. But that pessimism had all faded when I was so blown away by what the film turned out.

Big Hero 6 (2014)
So after the very serious movie and awards contenders film I choose to watch this cute cartoon. I like this film, it's really sweet and amazing and smart movie. This film is not FROZEN... it is not filled with songs or magical snowmen, but this film has something else, it has family, friends, action , drama, and most of all a big robot named Baymax who will examine your funny bone and sense of humor . The film shows what kind of magic Disney can do with super hero's . The story is fast paced for the most part and the laughs and entertainment are high flying, that is if you like heights , but if you don't its OK because this movie knows how to get down also.
Great animation, story, characters, humor, technologies that we might as well see in the near future. It's Disney meets Marvel which produces a very good kid's movie. For me this is one of the best cartoon I have watched. It had the emotion of Finding Nemo and UP. There are a few sad parts with the climax being fairly sad for a cartoon.

Million Dollar Arm - Review (2014)
Based on a true story, Million Dollar Arm is a predictable motivating sport film from the Disney stable.
Jon Hamm with his flawlessly groomed stubble and cocky grin plays the haughty sports agent Bernstein with ease. As a groomed smooth talker in sharply tailored corporate suits, there are few to match Hamm and he does what is expected of him. The two main characters of the movie are Suraj Sharma, the star of Life of Pi who plays Rinku and Madhur Mittal, the older brother in Slumdog Millionaire who plays Dinesh. Both of them perform their roles very beguilingly and inspire affection from the crowd. The rest of the supporting cast also perform their roles very well especially Lake Bell who was very impressive in her cameo role as Brenda.

This film was a good example of how sports film should be. I was able to attend an early screening of this film and I believe that I was lucky. Actor Jon Ham proved us that he is as good in film acting as he is in TV series. He gave a phenomenal and satisfying performance in this epic sports drama.
